The Letterpod is proud to be involved in bringing you exclusive coverage of LB CON 2009. The Letterpod crew will be recording at the event, and bringing you a post event video podcast as it did for past Frightnight events.
In addition, the Letterpod will be attempting to bring you LIVE coverage of the event on Saturday, July 18th, from 1-4 p.m. (Central Time!!!). If all goes well with the equipment and internet gods, we will be bringing you the sights and sounds as they happen direct from the convention. The votes have now been cast! The design submitted by David of Team New Hampsire is the winner! Thank you David, and thanks to the 100+ people who cast votes to our new patch design. The new patch will be available at LB CON 2009! Thanks!

The Letterpod is very excited to announce a design competition for a new Letterpod patch. With the old patches are almost gone, we would like to launch the new design at this year’s LB CON 2009.
The Prize: The winning designer will win:
- the final patch they design (estimated cost: $3)
- the 4 CD compilation of Episodes 1-14 (estimated cost: $15)
- and will be interviewed for an upcoming episode of the Letterpod (priceless)
Guidelines: (if you have a design that does not meet any of these, I can waive some guidelines for a good idea)
- All designs must be submitted to jackbear by midnight of May 25th, 2009
- Design should be submitted in .jpg or .pdf form please.
- Design should not exceed 3×3 inches.
- Design should include the colors “purple and green” but are not limited to only these colors
- Design should include a pair of headphones, but are not limited to only headphones.
Design Selection: Design submissions will be posted online, and voted upon by the letterboxing community. The design with the highest number of votes after a week will be the winning patch design! Patches will then be ordered, and launched at LB CON 2009. Contact jackbear with any questions! Thanks and good luck!

The first Stampeaz Stumper, that can be heard in Letterpod Episode 10 is a challenging riddle. If you can come up with the correct answer, you could win a $10 Gift Certificate to Stampeaz.com. Just contact letterpod@atlasquest.net with your answer before Letterpod Episode 11 airs. A winner will be selected at random from entries with the correct answer.

After several months of inactivity, Letterpod is up and running again. Stay tuned for the long awaited Episode 6, with a new sound and format.
